MIRA (WHITE)

ARINTO BUCELAS 2016

This wine is made with Arinto grapes from two small vineyards. A lowland vineyard in a very cool area with deep claylimestone soils and another located on a more chalky and sunny hillside. It is a rawand uncompromising approach to the unique “terroir” of this region that revisits artisan winemaking techniques, naked of technology and in search of the purest expression of the “Arinto de Becelas”.

THE 2016 VINTAGE
The spring of 2016 was quite cold and rainy. The summer was generally dry and hot but in this region the night humidity is always very high, allowing balanced ripening, always qith great level of freshness and acidity. These grapes were harvested manually on september 10 and the result is a wine full of elegance and texture.
