Country: Portugal
Region: Montargil, Alentejo
Winemaker: Susana Esteban
Grape Varieties: Syrah (50%), Aragonez (30%) , Trincadeira (20%)
Wine Analysis: Alcohol 13,5% by volume | Total acid: 5,3 g/L | Final pH: 3,7 | Residual sugar: 0,4 g/L
Winemaking: The clusters were hand-harvested and carefully sorted at the winery. All grapes were destemmed and slightly crush. Fermentation took place in the tradicional small open-top tanks (lagares), with controlled temperature, where the cap of skins was punched down gently ensuring a soft mouthfeel.
Tasting notes: Fragrant red fruit is layered with a soft note of black pepper. A refreshing acidity and fine tannins gives the wine a delicious and juicy finish. Perfect to go along with cheerful and relaxed moments.
