ALIÁS BAGA (RED)

the… “Elegance of Outrora”

This wine was born of the centenarian Baga vines that we found in Bairrada. It is limited production of a specific parcel of our vineyard in the valley of Cadoiços. In this clay area the old vines haven imposing size and the grapes hold a unique freshness. We decided to make a different wine of this micro-terroir. A fresher, less matured wine, thinking about the purity and elegance of the variety.

The 2015 VINTAGE

It was a generally hot and dry year but the winter and the month of September where much cooler and wet. These grapes were harvested by hand on September 10, before the rain, in their perfect point of ripening and sanity. The result is a crystal clear wine of great finesse that is pure pleasure to drink.
